Despite being President of Goya Contemporary and Goyagirl Press which I founded in 1994, I have kept a studio practice for 50 years.
I graduated from The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art (PAFA) in 1976, worked as a lithographer for PAFA projects 1976-1978 and graduated with an MFA in Painting and Art History from Washington University in 1980. In 1977, I studied art history at Tyler School of Art in Rome.
