Art should be both beautiful and truthful. I am a newly emerging acrylics painter and love exploring many media options and techniques. As a transgender female, my inspirations and topics stem from my life experience and the experiences I am involved with in my community and family. Ed Siu, received his bachelor’s in Fine Arts from the San Francisco Art Institute in the summer of 2000.
He’s been making art for a few decades amassing a body of work that is diverse and autobiographical. Each piece is part of a meta-narrative about love, sanctification, and the creative process; like puzzle pieces, they fit together and tell a story over time.
