Greetings! I'm Cheri Glover, an artist based in Columbia, MD. My artistic journey is marked by my appreciation for color and design. I'm known for my exploration of shapes, transparencies, and the unusual utilization of positive and negative space to craft unconventional compositions.
After 3 decades I’m still excited to witness how art making changes us, how a whole space can become welcoming and inspiring, how all humans, regardless of their age or socio-economic bracket , are deeply impacted by the process of creating. So I’ve led hundreds of mosaic mural installations, mural creations, taught classes, workshops, and retreats in schools, libraries, senior centers, jails, and my home. I’m an artist who explores consciousness, growing myself into a more kind human who understands we’re part of nature.
My name is Anthony R. McCray, and I hail from West Baltimore. Growing up in Park Heights, I faced numerous challenges, including threats to my life both from external sources and within my own home. Despite these adversities, creativity wasn't always a natural outlet for me; it took pivotal life experiences to unlock my artistic potential.
Originally from Cecil County, I moved to Salisbury, MD at various times since 1993, graduating from Lasell College and Salisbury University. I am a freelance artist who predominantly works in pastel to create portraits and landscapes. My inspiration comes from artists such as Rembrandt and Monet. The type of work I am known for is stylized realism.
I am a ceramic artist based in Silver Spring, MD.
I am a photographer whose work has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today, amongst others. I specialize in portraits for connoisseurs of edgy and elegant content. Story telling portraits in a cinematic style.
