Her work is based on her understanding of memory, time and space, and interpersonal relationships. The subject matter varies from human figures to abstractions. These are executed primarily with oil, acrylic, cyanotype on canvas, wood panels, and Yupo paper.

I'm a multimedia artist and current student at MICA, based in Baltimore, where I was born and
raised. My roots and environment is where I draw the majority of my inspiration from. My work is
the reflection of me growing up in one of the deadliest cities in America, and the everlasting
impact it has on the people who live here.

Growing up, my mother sewed constantly so it is not surprising that I learned to love textiles, fabrics, cloth and sewing. In my education as a textile artist weaving became, and still is, a powerful passion along with dying thread, encaustics, eco printing cloth, hand stitching and recently knitting.
