The scope of my artwork includes collage, mixed media, artist-made books, drawing, photography, and printmaking. I share a studio with my partner, Denise, at Wamalingo Studio in Brentwood, MD. I have exhibited in many local exhibitions through the years and my work has been collected in public and private collections.
If there is any common thread throughout my work it would best describe as embracing the elements of chance, accident, improvisation as well as natural abstraction. At times, it also involves my personal attack on rationality and a materialistic and disposable world.
Rebecca Rothey studied photography under Geoff Delanoy while working towards her undergraduate degree in philosophy at the University of Notre Dame, Maryland. She was an adult, part-time student and photography allowed her a much needed creative respite from the pressures of work and school. She learned photography by developing film and making gelatin silver prints using traditional darkroom techniques.

I am a Marine Corps Veteran diagnosed with bipolar disorder. With the help of my wife we are trying to capture the beauty of my wellness journey. Mental illness can be devastating. My experience with it though has fueled part of a creative process involving mindful observation of ruler and compass, the world around me, and sometimes simply enjoying a preoccupying idea to buy time through dark emotional planes.

Hi, I'm Love'! I'm a multidisciplinary artist that gravitates towards visuals and music .A lot of my work serves to transmute my heavier emotions, and juxtapose contradicting thoughts and ideas in visual form. I began creating in my childhood, from drawing and painting, writing and performing original scripts, and recording myself singing songs that I'd make up. Over time the subject matter has changed, but I still implement the same childlike wonderment and exploration with the mediums that I use.
Artist Amber Proctor is a local DMV artist and art educator who looks to inspire the next "dope" artists with her works of art. As a long time art art appreciator and administrative assistant with LW arts and Design, she is a self taught artist who felt is was time to share in her creativity with the world .
Growing up Amber described her pencil and sketchbook as her most valued possession and when faced with adverse times in life took to art as a form of self-expression. With the world and the adversity we all face in it , she took the freedom of art to express her thoughts.
I am a photographer and artist located in Baltimore, MD. My work is multi-media in nature. I do not believe in sticking to one material or pursuing just one theme. Instead, I am interested in the intersection of ideas and believe that experimentation is the marker of a great artist.
