Katherine Farrell was born and raised in Ireland where she trained as a doctor and came to Maryland in 1973 for post-graduate education. She practiced as a public health physician for the State of Maryland until her retirement in 2008. She paints in oils usually from direct observation, and she loves to paint plein air. Katherine has a studio in Ellicott City which is named Sheebeen Busy (after a remark by a visitor) She and her husband Bernard live in Ellicott City, Maryland and have three daughters and four grandchildren.
Todd Washington’s goal is to add emotional depth and texture to an image. He frequently includes people in his work, finding this subject ideal for communicating his ideas to the viewer. He is a painter and photographer, with influences ranging from Alice Neel to Marsden Hartley, from Irving Penn to Annie Leibovitz. Todd (American) is a graduate from St. Mary's College of Maryland, and also studied art at College of Southern Maryland.
Michael Sweet is a Harford County, Maryland fine artist residing in Havre de Grace. He is a self- taught, outsider artist, painting exclusively in pointillism, which began as doodles in the margins of college notebooks. He began painting 35 years ago after earning his Master’s Degree in Computer Science, focusing his compositions on vortices and spheres.

The brushwork in her art often tells the story of her memories from life and travels in India, showcasing the richness and beauty of Indian culture. My name is Kay Montanye. I’m a painter, wife, and mother based outside of Baltimore in Glyndon, Maryland, an old Victorian town that overlooks a vast valley of hayfields and horse farms. Living near such an untouched landscape has allowed my love and appreciation for the natural beauty of our world to grow over the years. I use my interactions with the local animal life to inspire my work. My mixed media illustrations are hand-drawn using watercolor, acryla gouache, and acrylic paint.
