Hello everyone!
I love to create paintings in oil and acrylic on canvas and putting my art on t-shirts and handbags.
My love of art started when I was 8 years old and has continued throughout the years.
In high school I studied Commercial arts and in college I studied Graphic design.
I have shared my love of art teaching elementary/middle school students in afterschool programs throughout Maryland.
I look forward to sharing my art on this beautiful platform.
I am an Elevated Thoughts Activist and a Creative.
As a Survivor, my art focuses on depicting the journey of Healing and returning to self.
Currently, I am focused on my "Rise and Thrive" community installations, working with local non-profits, and my original paintings.
Abstract Portraiture Artist
Ruth is a multidisciplinary artist known for her layered paper artworks, as well as her abstract and landscape paintings. She first learned paper-cutting as a traditional Jewish folk-craft and established her practice designing ketubahs (Jewish wedding art), creating over 2,000 works for couples worldwide. Her current work combines digital design, laser-cutting, and inkjet-printing to create incisively-layered paper artworks. Ruth lives and works in Montgomery County, Maryland.
