Margaret Dowell is an artist and art educator, teaching most recently for the College of Southern Maryland. Her artworks have been included in many regional and national exhibitions Currently painting Southern Maryland heritage subject matter in oils, her earlier paintings were social commentary in nature. She holds a Ph.D, (Curriculum and Instruction) and MFA (Installations) from the University of Maryland.
Wesley Clark currently resides in Hyattsville, MD, with his wife and two beautiful children. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting from Syracuse University and a Master of Fine Arts from The George Washington University.
At the core of his practice, Clark primarily creates mixed media wood assemblages that read as familiar and are often hybrids of two, or more, objects/concepts. He refers to these objects as fictional artifacts, made to look as if they’ve lived a life prior to being on display prompting viewers to question their importance and create their own narratives.

Desmond Beach is an artist and educator. He earned his MFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art's Rinehart School of Sculpture and his BFA from MICA. Desmond is an interdisciplinary artist, the middle son of three boys born in Baltimore, Maryland. He is a project artist, meaning that his work takes its point of departure from specific problems or tragedies. Desmond finds inspiration for his work from growing up in Baltimore during the 80s and 90s and his lived experience as a Black man.
There is a strong narrative running through Susan Washington's work that references her long involvement with collage, textiles, fashion and art. She comes from a family of artists and by age 5 Susan was tutored in the art of origami and sumi-e ink drawing by her Japanese godmother as well as watercolors from her father. She spent her teens deconstructing dressmaking as a punk fashionista. Washington then landed on 5th Avenue working at Dior and Nautica.
Formstone Castle is a small team based out of Upper Fells Point, Baltimore, bringing together the enthusiasm and diverse skillsets of many different communities to make art for festivals and events, as well as simply for the joy of creation.
