Lior (they/any) is a 32 year old self-taught artist living on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and coastal Delaware.
They previously worked in ecology and public health, before undergoing a major life shift initiated by illness. At age 28, Lior faced sudden onset of disability and chronic illness and had to stop working. In the face of lots of time and bodily limitations, they decided to teach themselves to paint.
As an Annapolis-based artist, my portfolio encompasses a diverse range of black and white photography, relief prints, and coastal abstract paintings. My work is deeply inspired by the beauty and simplicity of everyday scenes, with a focus on capturing the essence of landscapes, wildlife, and ordinary moments.
