Using both digital and analog cameras, she creates intentionally cinematic and honest imagery. My name is Kay Montanye. I’m a painter, wife, and mother based outside of Baltimore in Glyndon, Maryland, an old Victorian town that overlooks a vast valley of hayfields and horse farms. Living near such an untouched landscape has allowed my love and appreciation for the natural beauty of our world to grow over the years. I use my interactions with the local animal life to inspire my work. My mixed media illustrations are hand-drawn using watercolor, acryla gouache, and acrylic paint.
