Tantara began to study art formally in Montgomery Blair High School’s magnet arts program, continuing at Montgomery College Rockville where she completed a degree in graphic design in 2003. During that time she participated in numerous artist alley exhibitions at pop culture conventions such as Katsucon, Otakon, and Anime Boston. In 2006 she attended the Ernest G.
Sarah Matthews
Sarah Matthews is a MA Art & the Book graduate from the Corcoran College of Arts and Design at George Washington University in Washington, D.C.  Mrs. Matthews also received an MBA with a Marketing Concentration in 2005 and a BS in Sociology in 2000 from Bowie State University in Bowie, MD. Mrs. Matthews’ work has been exhibited in the US and is a part of the permanent collections of Yale’s Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library, George Washington University’s Gelman Library, University of Puget Sound, and Samford University. Marilyn Gates-Davis
Painting since a child, Marilyn Gates-Davis has over 40 years and counting as an artist. She has been working as a graphic designer for the past 30+ years, designing magazines, books, and print materials. She typically paints intimate portraits of friends and family members as well as iconic figures. To counteract negative stereotypes, she chooses to depict the joy of the black culture through her paintings. Marilyn paints images that celebrate grace, strength, dignity and love of black people, often utilizing her art to share personal stories and childhood memories.

I started drawing when I was 8 years old, from there I had my first art gallery exhibit when I was 9 years old. I have been in a few art galleries since I was 9 years old and till now, I all was loved trying to learn every new thing I could growing up making art.

Nate Hudson is an experienced artist, with years of mileage in traditional art and recently transitioned to working in digital art full time. He likes to draw comic art, portrait work and, other various subject matters in order to enhance his skill set to do more professional work. He's grateful for the ability to create art and share it with others who can appreciate it.

Julia K Burzon
Julia K. Burzon is an artist of traditional and digital media. Early published work includes pen and ink illustration for Iowa State University Extension publications, scientific illustrations in peer-reviewed journals, and and commissioned projects (ex. photography and creation of a wall calendar). Returning to art as a serious pursuit m in 2019, after a long hiatus working in natural resources administration and raising a family, Julia embarked on a quest to master digital painting from 2020–2021 by learning how to use all’s various capabilities via the framework of apple-themed artworks.
