Lumina Studio Theatre
Now in its 25th season, Lumina Studio Theatre made its debut on October 5, 1995 in Brooklyn, NY at Promote Art Works, Inc. as a new concept in teaching speech and drama. Jillian Raye, Founder and Artistic Director, moved the organization to Takoma Park, MD, in 1997. Ms. Raye’s extensive training included: the Victorian Ballet Guild Theatre School; the Harkness Conservatory of Drama, Australia; Rudolf Steiner’s Speech and Drama technique and a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Washington County Playhouse
The historic Washington County Playhouse opened its doors in 1985. It has been operating continuously since that date in its current location. Nestled behind Hagerstown’s City Hall on Cramer Alley, The Playhouse produces live stage productions paired with delicious meals.
Garfield Center Foundation, Inc.
The Garfield Center produces year-round programming, including 5 to 6 self-produced theatrical plays and musicals per season, music events and concert bookings, monthly Open Mic and Improv events, founding-member participation in Live Playwrights' Society, a playwriting group that nurtures and supports new writers, and highly successful youth theatre education programs, including the long-standing and enormously successful Playmakers summer program.

National Philharmonic
Led by dynamic Music Director and Conductor Piotr Gajewski, the National Philharmonic is known for performances that are “powerful,” “impeccable,” and “thrilling.” (The Washington Post) The National Philharmonic boasts a long-standing tradition of reasonably priced tickets and free admission to all young people ages 7-17, assuring its place as an accessible and enriching component in Montgomery County and the DC area.
Baltimore Symphony Orchestra
For over a century, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) has been recognized as one of America’s leading orchestras and one of Maryland’s most significant cultural institutions. Founded in 1916 as a branch of the Baltimore City municipal government, the BSO reorganized as a private institution in 1942. We remain the first and only American orchestra with year-round venues in two distinct metropolitan areas, both specifically designed with the BSO in mind (The Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore City and The Music Center at Strathmore in North Bethesda, Montgomery County).
