Children’s Theatre of Annapolis (CTA) is a community-based, 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is dedicated to nurturing the growth and development of the love of theatre in children age 5 to 18, through participation in all aspects of the theatrical experience, including performance, workshops, technical elements, community involvement, and apprenticeships. CTA provides a positive circle of influence through friendships that foster self-esteem, creativity, commitment, teamwork, appreciation, and dedication. CTA serves the child and the community.
The Londontowne Symphony Orchestra (LSO) is a regional orchestra, incorporated in 2003 as a non-profit organization. For the past 18 years the Londontowne Symphony has sought to recognize both local and international talent through the means of classical music. The orchestra was created to give Anne Arundel County its own symphony of fine performers with a very high level of artistry. Young Artists of America at Strathmore (YAA) is a non-profit educational organization offering world-class musical theatre training to young performing artists in a professional and nurturing environment. Our students perform fully orchestrated works of musical theatre in state-of-the-art venues such as the Music Center at Strathmore, where we are an Affiliate. Through the creative process, we give students skills and confidence to “find their voice” on the stage and in life.

Why comedy?
Broadly defined and properly presented, comedy encompasses all of the human experience. It can make us laugh and make us cry. It can bring joy and it can bring anger. It makes us think and makes us forget. It exalts and ridicules. It can divert, and it can focus. Comedy levels life’s playing field.
Why theater?
Theater, music, dance and art are proudly brought to Cecil County by the Milburn Stone Theatre. The Milburn Stone is the leading performing arts theater serving the northeast region of Maryland, conveniently located off exit 100B of I-95.
Opera Baltimore was originally founded in 2009 as Baltimore Concert Opera. Our commitment to strong organizational structure and artistic excellence set the stage for both continued success and smart growth. Opera Baltimore is an Artist-in-Residence at the stunning Garrett-Jacobs Mansion in Baltimore’s arts district of Mount Vernon. We strive to invigorate both our audiences and artists through a balance of classic and innovative programming.
A Baltimore-based non-profit organization, The Next Ice Age was founded in 1988 by Nathan Birch and Tim Murphy, former members of the John Curry Skating Company. John Curry used his status as Olympic Champion to elevate figure skating to a legitimate performance art. The Next Ice Age is proud to pass on his lineage of artistic figure skating to the next generation of skaters and to enthusiastic audiences throughout the Baltimore community.

The mission of the Children’s Playhouse of Maryland, Inc. (CPM) is to provide theatrical experiences for young people in Baltimore’s diverse metropolitan area. The goals of CPM are to make live theatre accessible to all children, to enable young people to gain an appreciation for the arts, as well as confidence and a sense of responsibility, and to provide training and practice in acting and theatre production for youth.
