Opportunities Industrialization Center (OIC) of Anne Arundel County Maryland is an adult education and job readiness service. We offer free classes in GED Preparation, Introduction to Computer, Microsoft Office Essentials, Healing Through Art, and English as a Second Language. John is an eclectic background with the flute starting on the western flute and taking up the North Indian "bansuri" for the last 3+ decades. John learned bansuri from Maestro Hariprasad Chaurasia and has 2 degrees North Indian music for the Rotterdam Conservatorium. John is also founder of the world music group "Facing East" and has played with many greats East and West including Jack DeJohnette, Larry Coryell, Victor Wooten, Paul Horn, Ramesh Mishra, Debu Chaudhuri, Paul McCandless, and others

The Wilds Writer's Studio
The Wilds Writer's Studio is a teen-focused workshop and development organization that brings working writers together with young writers to support their growth, help them develop their craft, and provide personal examples of how writing can work into professional life. Students can take workshops, join small groups, and work one-on-one with those working within the industry to find their unique voice.
Lailee McNair Bakhtiar
     Annapolis poet Lailee McNair Bakhtiar will read "Lafayette" for Poets Afloat  AMERICA 250 on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at the City Dock of Annapolis, Maryland.  Poets will read from a catamaran docked at the City Dock hosted by Poet Laureate of Annapolis, Jefferson Holland. 
Colleen Hawk
Colleen Hawk is a visual artist residing in Glen Burnie, MD. She graduated in 2014 from Delaware State University with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts. Currently, she is working out of her home studio and producing paintings in oil, watercolor, and acrylic.
