One-of-a-Kind Metal Sculpture from Found Material by Artist GJCuttler, A Man With Vision
GJCuttler discovered his talent for metal sculpture shortly after turning 62. He was learning how to weld, and while practicing, created a metal man from scrap metal. He laughingly called his wife to come see his "Man with a Hole in his Head for thinking he can weld". She looked at it and said "No, that is a Man With Vision"

Hello all,
Born, creates and lives in Baltimore MD.
Art has always been a passion for me. I am self taught, so this gave me the flexibility and freedom to really explore techniques and various art forms. Many teachers have brought great influence in my development, my parents, educators, amazing artists and friends. I have fond memories of thumbing through my mothers' college text books for Fine Art. Spending much of my free-time at the Walters Art Gallery and BMA. Sitting in life drawing sessions with Artists and soaking up the experience like a sponge.
Michael Stevenson works in paint, printmaking, music and theater. Currently
his interests lie in the role of memory and experience, the truth found in the body versus
arguments constructed in the mind, the need to act even when faced with incomplete or
missing information. Images convey many messages on many levels. He studied art at
Concordia University in Montreal, getting his BFA in painting, as well as at the University of
Quebec at Montreal and the Hochschule der Kunst in Berlin. While pursuing his BFA, he

Growing up, I never thought that “artist” was an occupation, even though I can’t remember a time before paper and crayon—I am nervous whenever I am without an implement to make marks. It’s not really an occupation—it’s a mindset/philosophy that I’ve used to guide my life, from Pensacola Junior College in Florida, to Maryland Institute College of Art (BFA General Fine Arts, ’94), to The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (MA Arts Administration, ’00) and my career in College Admission.

James "Jay P." Preston I have had an affinity for visual art, from a very young age. What began as simple pencil and magic marker drawing has blossomed into custom painting and photo-realistic portraiture. I attended and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Graphic Design & Advertising, from Morgan State University. Shortly after graduation, in 2004, I founded Xistential Design, focusing on branding and web design. Several years later, I took a chance, picked up a palette and acrylics and painted my first post-graduate portrait, birthing Lyfe of Jay P Paintings.
