A native of Denver, Colorado, Michelle La Perrière has been making art for decades. She has lived in Maryland since 1987, when she moved to Baltimore for graduate study with Grace Hartigan at the Maryland Institute College of Art’s Leroy E. Hoffberger School of Painting.

Nai Turner, Owner of Sideline Images, is an Artist whose humble, soft-spoken demeanor is a stark contrast to the political statements she presents to the world through her work. A self- taught painter who classifies her style as a hybrid of realism, pop and street art, she began painting in 2016 following a stint the army. The craft that served as a coping mechanism for post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), has helped Turner connect with her thoughts on what’s happening in the world, sharing it by way of creative expression in her work.
At four years old, my dad took me to the Bahamas for the first time. I saw a steel drum band and couldn't understand how music was coming from the cans. At that moment I was captivated and knew what I wanted to do...I wanted to make that sound.
After that, the discipline of learning how to play kept me focused and out of trouble. I grew up being influenced by the music of Ray Charles, Isaac Hayes, Barry White, Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind & Fire, Journey and Rush.
I would love to collaborate with artists to make immersive installation arts.

Hi 👋🏽 My name is Danielle and Im a disabled artist from NYC that started my journey later on in life, but you know what they say? It’s never too late to get started. Art saved my life and it opened up a whole new world opportunities for me and I am enjoying every minute of it. I consider myself somewhat of a modern-day, renaissance woman and all-around creative. I love 💖 to be in the studio creating just about anything from jewelry to Clay and even Painting all while juggling being a mom.
I am an actor, educator, and stick shift driver. I moved to Baltimore in 2008 as a founding ensemble member of Single Carrot Theatre. I received a BFA in Theater from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2005 and primarily perform on stage but recently have done more film and video work. While I have a passion for classics, I have more experience performing in contemporary plays. I can also juggle fire.
