Elias Schutzman is a teaching artist with the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning Through the Arts and Arts for Learning Maryland. Since 2016 he has been teaching arts integrated residencies, performing interactive assemblies and giving family involvement workshops for public school children throughout Maryland, DC and Virginia. As a musician, Elias has been a principal songwriter, drummer, keyboard player and vocalist for his bands The Flying Eyes, Black Lung and Revvnant, releasing over 9 original albums and touring internationally since 2010.

Thiang Uk is a painter currently based in Baltimore, MD. Uk received his M.F.A. in the LeRoy E. Hoffberger School of Painting at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and his B.F.A. at Hunter College in NYC in 2017. Camerata Baltimore was started on September 3rd, 2014 by the founder and artistic director, James Mayo III. Through the collaborative efforts of the founding members of the ensemble, their first performance was given at Catonsville Baptist Church in Catonsville, MD. The official debut of the ensemble was given on December 5th, 2014. This program included Part the First of Handel’s ​Messiah – a​long with other familiar favorites of Christmas. Now, this is an annual event.
