Rhea Reeves Stein
Rhea Reeves was born in Louisville, KY in 1978. She received her BFA from the Columbus College of Art and Design in late 2000. Originally a stone and wood carver, Rhea made a big shift in artist materials when suffered head and spinal injuries in a car accident in early 2000. She had to  explore lighter materials. Rhea was inspired by Magdelena Abakanowics Abakan works. She started working in installation art using paper,wax, plaster, cotton fiber, metal, and thread. Her works have evolved to sculptural paintings and assemblage pieces.
Julie Maynard
Julie Maynard is a mixed media artist, combining collage, photography and sculpture.  She is a member of TAG/The Artists Gallery in Frederick.
Deborah Winram
Deborah Winram is a full time visual artist, working in mixed media and collage. She is a resident artist at the Griffin Art Center in Frederick, Maryland, is an Independent Artist Award winner and exhibits nationally.

The Heart of Civil War Heritage Area—with its partners—preserves and promotes the best of central Maryland's historic sites, towns, cultural landscapes, and diverse stories. Arts programming occurs primarily at the historic Newcomer House near Keedysville, Maryland, where a the heritage area operates a visitor center to assist visitors seeking cultural, historical and natural resource expereriences in Washington, Frederick and Carroll counties.
