Meghan Shanley Alger
Flutist Meghan Shanley Alger explores sounds on everything from harmonica and beer bottles to live electronics, knitting needles, and pencils. With an uncanny ability to create specific atmospheres, even the New York Times has noted her “singing into her flute to produce surreal and eerie timbres.” She ventures into the extreme with composers, pushing the boundaries of what is possible to create new worlds. Her performance credits include the Kennedy Center, AMP by Strathmore and Peabody Library of Baltimore, as well as Symphony Space and Carnegie Hall.
Rochelle Abramowitz
Rochelle Abramowitz is a Baltimore area artist who weaves open-ended narratives through her watercolor paintings and mixed media dioramas. Fascinated by the behaviors that make us fundamentally human, such as dance, art, music, and violence, her work explores concepts and themes inherent to humanity, across time and place. Inspired by the convergent evolution of mask-making across cultures, as well as the collection of Haitian paintings of lush jungles in her childhood home, Abramowitz’s masked characters engage in various rituals while inhabiting vibrant landscapes.
wildliz
Liz is an emerging photographer with a lifelong passion for adventure and wildlife. She has long worked to connect people to the outdoors and conservation through years as a public interest activist and as an outdoor leader, teacher, and guide with the Sierra Club and REI. Her work as a photographer is a continuation of those efforts. Through the global pandemic, Liz's "bird-a-day" project has become a source of joy for many suffering through such a difficult year; giving people a connection to and education about birds.

Sambarta, a sitar player based in Maryland, received his training in Indian classical music in Calcutta, India from Pandit Himadri Bagchi and Pandit Debaprasad Chakraborty. Recent recitals have included programs at the Philadelphia Clef Club, the Reagan Center, Washington DC, Bloombars, the Indian Embassy, the Cleveland Public Library, Ohio, and the Westminster Presbyterian Church, DC. Primarily a soloist, Sambarta has also collaborated with vocalists and jazz musicians.
Howard County Chinese Cultural Center (H4C)
As the art program of Howard County Chinese School, the Howard County Chinese Cultural Center (H4C) was established in 2017 to promote Chinese art and culture in Howard County. The Center showcases Howard County and Maryland artists and performers at major annual events as well as smaller performances held throughout the year.  H4C’s mission is to spread the Chinese culture in Howard County by supporting talented local artists as well as guest artists from around the world.
Jonathan Clingenpeel
I am a self taught artist since 2020. I started my art career during the pandemic because I needed an outlet for what was going on. Animals and people are my main studies and I primary use charcoal as my medium.
Allyssa Yamaguchi-Juarez
Driven by a desire to understand the world through fantastical interpretations, my art captures fleeting moments and the tension between presence and absence. Expressed through bold color and subtle expressions, my oil paintings depict Neoclassical, Hellenistic and contemporary figures suspended between eras, reflecting society’s attraction to escapism and idealized fantasy.
