Welcome to Hannah Keyes Photography & Books! I am an author, artist, and a photographer of over a decade. My roots are in black and white film photography and darkroom work, but since I have expanded into digital work as well. Wildlife and nature make up the majority of my photography focus.
For 13 years, I have been a full-time painter, mixed media, and fiber artist. From 2009-2011 I lived and exhibited my work around the Washington D.C. area and was a 2011 visiting artist at the Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria, Virginia. From 2012-2019, I lived in Ramstein, Germany where I collaborated with German artists and continued to produce and show work, including a Dada-inspired embroidery installation. Currently, I live in Baltimore, Maryland.
Hailing from Maryland, LJR is a tenacious and passionate pop-rock artist who strives to empower and inspire his audience to live their lives to the fullest. Seamlessly blending ‘80s-style pop beats with alternative rock guitar solos, his music is tremendously anthemic and infectious while conveying remarkable vulnerability, speaking to those parts of the soul that yearn to heal and grow. LJR is currently releasing his 12-track debut album “When the Sky Began to Fall,” which he is sharing with fans one song at a time with an accompanying sci-fi music video series.

Elizabeth Schwarz Sumner was born and raised in Washington, DC. The youngest of seven children, art was a constant in her home. Her father was a WPA artist and landscape painter and was Elizabeth’s first art instructor. She grew up seeing her father working on oil and watercolor paintings and learned to observe objects and see color through his eyes. This intimate training and guidance are still major influences on her work today.
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I was inspired at an early age by the mountains, ocean and the natural beauty that surrounded me. I quickly found photography as a creative outlet to capture the sense of inspiration I felt when exploring these places.
Now as a Maryland artist, the magnificent landscapes of ‘The West’ continue to call me back. I’ve enjoyed many fulfilling journeys across the western part of the United States and Canada to capture its beauty.
