Jacqui Crocetta works in painting, printmaking and sculpture. Her socially engaged practice has aimed to bring attention to both the human condition as well as the environmental crisis, while celebrating resilience and the capacity for healing. She has exhibited her work regionally in venues such as Arts in Foggy Bottom, Adah Rose Gallery, McLean Project for the Arts, MassoniArt, Maryland Arts Place, King Street Gallery (Montgomery College) and Otis Street Arts Project, and received frequent recognition in the Washington Post and East City Art.

Sumita Kim, an artist and Professor of Art at Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland, was born in Gwang-ju, South Korea. Growing up in Seoul with artist and journalist parents, she developed a deep appreciation for the power of art and language at an early age.
In the late 1970’s she came to the United States to continue her education, and in 1982, she was awarded a Master’s degree in film-making from the American University in Washington, DC. Subsequently, she earned a Master of Fine Arts in Painting at the University of Maryland
Christin Fanelli was born in Washington, DC in 1994. She received her BFA in Art and Design with a concentration in painting, drawing, and printmaking from Towson University in 2018. In 2022 she graduated from Ohio University with an MFA in printmaking. Fanelli’s work has been exhibited across the United States, as well as online. Fanelli lives and works in Athens, Ohio
David ‘DEZ’ Zambrano is an artist in the DMV area, originally from Los Angeles. DEZ has made his mark in the sneaker community as one of the best custom sneaker artists in the world. He does this for a living having worked with companies like Adidas, Under Armour, MLB, NFLPA, NBAPA, and professional athletes from almost every major sport. This does not take away that DEZ is also an incredibly diverse artist, specializing in canvas art, murals and more. His first love for art began at an early age, was cultivated at home, and exploded when he watched the classic hip hop movie Beat Street.
Illinois native transplanted to the Washington DC area in 1982. Began a second career in the visual arts as a representational oil painter after a long career as an engineer in the US Navy submarine service and the nuclear power industry. Completed the Compass Atelier Master Artist Program in March 2023.
A recognized leader in chamber music and contemporary music advocacy, pianist Elizabeth G. Hill has led and performed in the D.C. area’s most prominent ensembles, and is known for her work as a performer, educator, and lecturer. A highly-regarded artist, she has performed lecture-recitals and concerts across the United States and in Europe, including for the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, the Center for Jewish History in New York, The Music Center in Los Angeles, and the Robert-Schumann-Haus in Zwickau, Germany. She currently performs in numerous ensembles within the Washington, D.C.
Nancy Sausser is an artist, curator, and writer living and working in the Washington D.C. area. She holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture from the University of Washington, in Seattle, and a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from Kenyon College. Her sculpture, executed primarily in low-fire ceramic, has been exhibited most recently at International Art and Artists at Hillyer, Brentwood Arts Exchange, Greater Reston Arts Center, and in Ankara, Turkey through the Department of State's Art in Embassies Program.
Art By Shayna is a newly formed glass studio in Silver Spring, Maryland. Born in Massachusetts, Shayna Heller attended Boston University School of Visual Arts, where she majored in graphic design. In the design field for forty-four years, Shayna retired from managing a creative graphic arts team at a national research corporation.
I'm inspired by nature and the landscape to create images drawn from my dreams and subconscious. I see the world as a magical place of surprise and mystery.
