As a small business owner, single parent, and part of the minority, I have a dream to commission art pieces for any and every person who enjoys a little beauty in the world we live in. From starting my business in my living room to growing my website and heading to pop-up shops. I always find an immense accomplishment when a client opens their piece and smiles because I try to give a little piece of myself in my artwork which should and last forever.

Narrative painting and protest art have been my forms of expression for over 40 years. I studied art at Hunter College in NYC and received a BFA in painting and I earned an MAT in art education at The University of Chicago. I have taught art in Montgomery County Public Schools for over 25 years, preserving my studio and art practice by teaching only part-time.
Two of my drawings separated by 44 years from my work with the feminist artist movement are in the collection of the Smithsonian Museum. They are on display in the National Portrait Gallery through 2021.
Hunter is a multi-faceted creator and producer from Olney, Maryland. Offering an eclectic sonic experience rooted in hip hop and R&B, his original production is known to favor lush tones, spacey synthesizers, and electronic drums. In addition to his own catalog, his work as a composer and audio engineer has spanned everything from local radio hits to indie film. He has notably appeared as a top disc jockey performer for Washington Talent Agency since 2011, as well as an opener for nationally touring acts such as Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, and Rico Nasty.
VisArts is a 501(c)(3) organization located in Rockville, Maryland.
Founded in 1987 as a grassroots organization serving local artists, VisArts has grown significantly since our founding - from a staff of two to nearly 20; from a small garage space to a 25,000 square foot hub of community engagement with classrooms, galleries, and artist studios; and from welcoming 2,500 visitors a year to more than 30,000 annually.
I am a painter of landscapes in oil along with portraits and figure studies in graphite. I typically work from my own photography, and I seek to capture the essence of the image. I received my BFA in Fine Arts at York University, after having previously attended the studio program for 2 years at the Philadelphia College of Art. I have subsequently taken painting courses with Dean Fisher, Alyssa Monks, and an on-line, evening class at the New York Academy of Art with Zane York. My work is in private collections in Denmark, Spain, Iceland, and the US.
I am an artist, designer, and retired professor of art. I paint in acrylics, in a variety of styles and techniques, and usually work in series. I often compose with the computer in Photoshop, and have explored variety further by recycling previous work, combining styles and assembling multiple canvases. The resulting images are metaphors for bridging differences and extending boundaries.
I am especially interested in public art projects, and designing for mural-sized digital prints on vinyl for banners.
