Carla Perlo
Carla Perlo, Founding Director Emerita of Dance Place served as the driving force of the organization from September 1, 1980 to August 31, 2017.  She has had an active career choreographing, teaching and performing across the US, London, Paris, Italy, Austria, Israel, Mexico and Brazil. Carla was named Washingtonian of the Year by Washingtonian Magazine in 1997 and received the Pola Nirenska Life Time Achievement award in 2017.  Many students credit her for their strong foundation and have gone on to lead very successful careers dancing with companies such as Kansas City Ballet, Martha Graham,

Rev. Lisa Rae Brooks...  Author, Ordained Interfaith Minister, Teacher, Spiritual Coach, Marriage Counselor Through prayer and meditation, Lisa came to understand that her true calling was in the area of delivering God’s word to our youth and teaching metaphysical practices that cross the boundaries of many religions.
Dave Baxter
Stained and Fused Glass Artist I work primarily with glass, both the more classic stained glass techniques as well as relatively modern fusing techniques.  I like to use these techniques in combination with unusual, often recycled, materials.  I teach stained glass techniques at Montgomery College.  I also repair damaged stained glass pieces. I do have a shop on Etsy (GlassByDaveDotCom), but most current work is featured on my Instagram account (glass_by_dave)  
Kolot HaLev Jewish Community Choir
Kolot HaLev (KHL) is a non-audition community choir whose mission is two-fold: 1) to introduce diverse audiences to treasures of Jewish music rarely heard, and 2) to give members of the community an opportunity to sing and to grow musically under the direction of a master teacher. KHL builds bridges between denominations and communities. Most of our music is discovered through research by our Artistic Director Dr. Ramón Tasat in archives of diverse communities and arranged by him for choral presentation. Music by contemporary composers is also in our repertoire.
Cintia Cabib
Cintia Cabib is an independent producer, videographer, and editor.  Her documentaries have aired on public television stations nationwide and have been screened at numerous venues throughout the U.S.  Cintia's films shine a light on local people, places, and history with a focus on the arts, the environment, and multicultural issues.  Her documentaries include Kindred Spirits, a portrait of two accomplished but unsung Black women artists, Labyrinth Journeys, an exploration of an ancient symbol and structure and its significance to the people who use it as a tool for meditation and rehabilitati

Lumina Studio Theatre
Now in its 25th season, Lumina Studio Theatre made its debut on October 5, 1995 in Brooklyn, NY at Promote Art Works, Inc. as a new concept in teaching speech and drama. Jillian Raye, Founder and Artistic Director, moved the organization to Takoma Park, MD, in 1997. Ms. Raye’s extensive training included: the Victorian Ballet Guild Theatre School; the Harkness Conservatory of Drama, Australia; Rudolf Steiner’s Speech and Drama technique and a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Adventure Theatre MTC
Adventure Theatre MTC educates and inspires new generations of theatre artists and audiences with exceptional theatrical experiences.
