Hays Dowdy
Hays Dowdy is a DMV based guitarist/singer-songwriter, YouTuber, and Sessions Live artist working in the wedding and entertainment industry, while also performing live both as a solo artist and with several bands in the DC area. Rooted in British Invasion rock/pop, blues, psychedelia, country, and trained in jazz at Montgomery College, my approach blends different musical genres to evoke the sonic spirit of an environment within a studio in the 1960s. I earned an Associate of Arts degree from Montgomery College on May 23rd, 2014.
National Philharmonic
Led by dynamic Music Director and Conductor Piotr Gajewski, the National Philharmonic is known for performances that are “powerful,” “impeccable,” and “thrilling.” (The Washington Post) The National Philharmonic boasts a long-standing tradition of reasonably priced tickets and free admission to all young people ages 7-17, assuring its place as an accessible and enriching component in Montgomery County and the DC area.
Yuandi Yang
Yuandi Yang Artist: Acrylic & Oil Painting Silver Spring, Maryland Born in Anhui, China Yuandi Yang came to the United States in 2013 at the age of 23. Residing in Silver Spring, Maryland, Yuandi is a self-taught artist who works in the medium of acrylic and oil paintings.  Her style reflects her love of nature, incorporating flowers and animals in her paintings. The bright colors and flowing texture of her brush use can be seen in her work, displaying depth for her viewers to see.

Jessica Powell Eig
Praised for her “natural expressiveness” (Montpelier Times Argus), Jessica Powell Eig has crafted a dynamic and varied career performing on double bass, violone, and viola da gamba. She is the principal violone of the Washington Bach Consort and a core member of the New Orchestra of Washington. She appears regularly with American Bach Soloists, Washington Concert Opera, Cathedral Choral Society, and many others. In 2018 she joined the faculty of Chamber Music Conference and Composers’ Forum of the East. She is a regular guest lecturer in double bass pedagogy at the University of Maryland.

Story Tapestries: Arianna Ross and the ST Ensemble
Story Tapestries: Arianna Ross and The Ensemble executes performances and residencies that use the arts as a means to bridge barriers and help individuals foster a deeper connection to what they are learning and teaching. Story Tapestries creates international, dynamic programs that weave the power of dance, music, theatre, hip hop, rap, written word, visual art, and spoken word with any school subject. The artists are known for their ability to teach and perform for all ages with equal success because they custom design the programs to fit the needs of students and the subject.
ClancyWorks Dance Company
ClancyWorks shifts perceptions through dance! ClancyWorks presents original modern dance works created through an exploration of architecturally informed partnering techniques. The Washington Post has described Dr. Adrienne Clancy, Founder, as “a wizard of invention” and her choreography as “a tour de force of unpredictable partnering.” Over the past 20 years of choreographing, Clancy has earned numerous awards and honors for her work and has had her dances presented internationally in Japan, Poland, Paraguay, Mexico, Israel, and England.
