Han Jeon currently lives in Baltimore, Maryland. As an artist, he incorporates his own experience in order to convey his inner minds and how he accepts the current art world. His interests derive from the interaction between the environment and with his own perspective, in which Han develops his own understanding of visual perception of cityscapes and base geometry of architecture. He graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art 2018, with BFA degree
A few good friends and the wave of technology influenced my passion for photography. I love to hike and a few friends who were avid hikers and remarkable photographers introduced me to the DSLR. Around this time, I purchased a mobile device and was impressed with the photo quality. I began using my mobile device to shoot, edit and post my images to social media sites. I received great feedback because of my photos and decided it was time to explore the journey of becoming photographer.
Hope Bullard is a self-taught artist with a love for landscapes. Her journey into painting began five years ago. She previously sketched and dabbled in pastels to pass the time. After the birth of her son, she spent a lot of time wandering down hospital hallways. Something about the art used to decorate the hallways inspired her to create. This coupled with the frustration of finding the right piece to complete interior design projects led her to try her hand at painting. Although focused on acrylic on canvas, she has created pieces on glass, wood, and acrylic as well.
Ricky Sears creates paintings, drawings, and site-specific installations that are objective, abstract, or inspired by architecture. His plein-air oil paintings carefully observe and record perceived locations, his mindful watercolors use a proprietary method of linking the movement of the brush to create unique breathing patterns, and his sculptural work uses reclaimed materials to reference our build environment.
In her most recent work, Audra uses digitally manipulated photographs of the environment around her as the basis for her paintings. Her understanding of visual design concepts and color theory are evident in her work. By connecting photography, graphic design, and painting, Audra has found authenticity in her art practice.
Audra works out of Rockville, MD.
“Aligning my skills has shifted my relationship with my art, providing a level of fulfillment that was missing from my previous work and allowing me to enjoy the process of creating.”
I am an abstract painter who enjoys painting larger pieces on canvas. I use acrylic paints, pastels, charcoal, and occasionally spray paint to bring my music-inspired paintings to life. I will occasionally create artwork on paper largely for art studies. My creative process starts first and foremost with the music which informs my palette selection and sets the tone for the energy in the work ahead. After this foundation is established, my work is created through intuitive responses and reactions to music, a love of life, and all its experiences.
