Wyckham Avery
Wyckham Avery is a playwright. I am a playwright. Yes, I write plays, but I also build them. I am a 'wright' in the very true sense of the word. I make plays. I direct, perform, write, sing, dance, and teach. All of these things make me a playwright.
Larry Cook
Larry Cook received his MFA from George Washington University in 2013. A 2017 Trawick Prize Winner, a 2016 Sondheim finalist and former Hamiltonian Fellow (2013-2015), he has been included in various group shows including Faculty at Rush Arts Gallery (New York, NY 2018) Black Man in a Black World at Galerie Myrtis (Baltimore, MD, 2017) and It Takes A Nation at Katzen Arts center (Washington, DC, 2016). Cook has also had solo presentations at Hamiltonian Gallery (2015), (e)merge art fair (2014), Stamp Gallery (2014) and Pleasant Plains Workshop (2013).
Justin Plakas
Justin Plakas is an artist and designer whose work is actively engaged with the interaction between physical and virtual environments. His work has been screened in festivals and exhibited in galleries throughout the United States and internationally. Plakas was an artist in residence at The Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, The Hub Culture Arts lnitiative and attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. ln addition to his personal studio practice, he has worked in film production, photography and advertising.
PATRICIA DINGLE
Dr. Pat Dingle is a talented artist. She creates visual arts and writes stories. She has spoken at state and national conferences. She is writing fiction and non-fiction. Her artworks are expressive. She is writing children stories currently which are whimsical and fantastic. She produces a television program entitled, An Educational Moment, which shares information on careers, current events related to the education field, and cultural news. The program was created espeically for the community and inform underreprsented minorities of opportunities an career processes.
Rashad Ali Muhammad
Rashad Ali Muhammad is a multidisciplinary collage artist known for creating vivid and captivating works reflecting the vast complexities of our human existence. With a formal graphic design and photography education, Muhammad blends his acquired skills to create art that fascinates and expands the mind. His love for innovation and continued experimentation fuels my whimsical and enchanting artistic sensibilities. He works primarily in mixed media analog and digital collage.
james daniels
born 1962 Washington DC started making art at a young age family called it his gift. Sold his first work called dancing in the streets when he was eight. Was homeless while attending Corcoral school of Art Taught Art classes at The Community for Creative Non-Violence. Kendra Portier
Kendra Portier is an NYC + DC-area based maker, teacher, and performer. The projects she takes on are primarily dance works that evolve through her visual arts practice and transdisciplinary interest in mathematics, science, pedagogy and somatics. Alongside choreographed works, her creative projects manifest through work(s) on paper, including collage, screen-printing, and mixed-media design. Portier's current project explores Color though three intertwined performance-print installments: magenta (Burnish, premiere 2019-20 season), green, and saturation.
