Kate Miller
Raised in Wheaton, Maryland, I recently relocated to Hagerstown, Maryland after 25 years in Ohio, and am retired after working many years as a graphic artist.  My main interest is in painting portraits of live sitters, and I am available for commissions. When I don't have sitters available I work on still lifes, and have also done quite a few self-portraits. Some of my more recent portraits were begun with a sitting and finished from photographs. I worked in acrylics in my 20's but since then have used oils, often with a quick-drying medium. Member of TAG/The Artists Gallery in Frederick.
