About the Artist

Leanne “L-Stringz” Holmes is violinist, educator, and entrepreneur. Originally from Atlanta, GA, she has been classically trained for close to two decades, and has developed her niche in contemporary music such as Hip-Hop and RnB. In every performance, L-Stringz provides a “New Music Experience” that engages the audience in any setting to be able to connect with music on a more personal level. Her talents have lead to working with many organizations including The NBA and WNBA, Rolling Out Magazine, The Reginald F Lewis Museum, Governor Wes Moore's Office, and more. In 2024, LStringz started The Gentlemen Band. This group, compromised of Piano, Bass, and Percussion, performs a variety of music styles with LStringz. Since starting, they have performed for Taste of the DMV Festival, the "4MLK" Building opening, Jazzy Friday at the Historic Clifton Mansion, and more. L-Stringz is also a proud member of Sigma Alpha Iota International Women’s Fraternity, INC where she continues to serve through music and education.   For more on L-Stringz, visit www.lstringz.com
