Over the past three decades, Peter Wood has been perfecting his skills as a magician, mentalist, and maker. Peter Wood knows how to make events amazing and unforgettable. Whether up close or from the stage, his decades of experience will ensure that your event is the one they can’t stop talking about. On their show Penn & Teller: Fool Us, Penn Jillette called Peter’s approach “so unusual and so different” saying “I don’t think we’ve ever said this before on the show: it was really, really enjoyable to do your thinking along with you.” When Peter returned for a second appearance, Penn praised “I really like how refreshing it is that you come out and say ‘These are impossible objects.’ … We like you, we like having you back!” The Washington Business Journal promises that Peter “will blow your mind,” and the Baltimore Sun writes “humor makes the whole performance entertaining.” UMBC Magazine calls him “effortless, natural, smooth and magical,” and 100.7 The Bay proclaims Peter to be “Baltimore’s best magician.” He’s a repeat guest on Fox 45 News, and Baltimore Magazine describes him as “charming, witty, and amazing.” For over a decade, Peter has partnered with the International Spy Museum to present an exclusive stage program which showcases where the worlds of magic and espionage overlap.  He is featured in an interactive Museum exhibit, and presents at numerous public and private SPY events throughout the year. Peter Wood has opened for actor/comedian Dave Coulier, appeared on television twice with Alyson Hannigan, and shared the stage with living legends at the Comedy and Magic Society. When not performing, Peter’s specific magical thinking and fabrication know-how have led him to design and consult for film projects, theatrical productions, and his fellow performers. Peter worked behind the scenes on the groundbreaking Penn & Teller Masterclass in Las Vegas, has lectured at Johns Hopkins University, and co-hosted a podcast for Bicycle Playing Cards. Peter Wood’s creations have appeared in film festivals, on television, and stages in Sweden, Brunei, New York, at The Magic Castle in Hollywood, and at The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.
