Milburn Stone Theatre at Cecil College

Theater, music, dance and art are proudly brought to Cecil County by the Milburn Stone Theatre. The Milburn Stone is the leading performing arts theater serving the northeast region of Maryland, conveniently located off exit 100B of I-95. A comprehensive organization, the Milburn Stone is accountable for a variety of missions within the theater facility including college, community, and public activities.

Fitzgerald Theatre

The F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre is a vibrant, local theatre dedicated to the performing arts. Located in the Civic Center, this 446-seat theatre boasts over 100 performances a year. Experience a captivating musical by the Rockville Musical Theatre, become moved by the Victorian Lyric Opera Company, or lose yourself in the spellbinding Rockville Civic Ballet. At the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre, there is truly something for everyone.

 

 

Oleny Theatre

Olney Theatre Center for the Arts produces and curates theatrical performance for the diverse audiences in our community, and educates, learns from, supports and inspires a more inclusive generation of theater-makers.

 

Involvement Theater, Inc.

Involvement Theater programs have been used with Maryland County Office of Aging sites, preK-12 public & private schools, College & University Student Activities, after school and No Child Left Behind programs.  The programs are adapted to the participating age level including special needs and at-risk populations.  Residencies, teacher in-service, family/parenting programs, music song writing and creative drama workshops are also available.  Please call for funding options.

Fredericktowne Players

Fredericktowne Players (FTP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community theater organization.  Originally founded in 1932 and is considered the oldest theater company in Frederick.  Our mission is to provide opportunities for the residents of Frederick and surrounding areas to participate in and enjoy quality theatrical productions.  FTP emphasizes the production of shows with a broad appeal to its audiences with goals to education, enlighten and entertain.  FTP stages three shows a year and offers a wealth of opportunities for participants to showcase their talents on stage or behind the scenes.
