The Eric Byrd Trio: Ambassadors of Gospel, Blues & Jazz! We are an award winning group that has performed both nationally and internationally for over 20 years.

As former State Department Washington, DC Kennedy Center Jazz Ambassadors, we are excited to potentially add your venue to our itinerary.

Every Eric Byrd Trio concert has one major component, regardless of the configuration of musicians, or music program, you can guarantee your audience will have an engaging and enjoyable experience. That makes for a good time to be had by all that attend an EBT show.

The Eric Byrd Trio features Eric Byrd on vocals and piano, Bhagwan Khalsa on bass and drummer Alphonso Young Jr. Because they are some of the best musicians on the scene today, it gives us the flexibility to be musically creative in the following ways:

The Eric Byrd Trio - piano/vocal jazz played at a very high level

The Eric Byrd Trio: Brother Ray Band - an 8 piece ensemble with a horn section celebrating the legacy and music of The Genius, Ray Charles

Charlie Brown Christmas - The Trio plays new inventions based on the classic Charlie Brown tv show - perfect for the holidays

Sacred Music Sessions - The Trio plays Spirituals, Hymns and Gospels, a perfect program for Black History Month, Juneteenth Celebrations and more
