An original song is conceived as one long run-on sentence. The title word "solstice" comes from the Latin "sol" (sun) and "sistere" (to stand still) -- because at the summer and winter solstices, from the Earth's vantage point, the sun appears to stand still before swinging back into the opposite hemisphere.
