Vrtsy ( /ˈärtsē/ artsi) - Making a strong, or affected display of being artistic or interested in the arts.
Born in Washington, DC. Now a Baltimore City resident, with a few stops in-between... just looking to create along the way.
I am an Illustrator and Graphic Designer, who has been working in the industry for way too many years. My artwork is wide ranging, always displaying a dynamic energy to each piece.
As an Illustrator I have done sketch card work for Topps and Upper Deck working on properties such as Marvel Comics, Star Wars, Rick and Morty, and Archer. I have done comic book work for Visionary Comics title The Offspring and IDW’s Deadlands: Dead Man’s Hand.

As a Multidisciplinary Artist and single mom, time has had to become fluid for me in order to create. My latest works consist of images capturing moments in my life along with prose concerning homelessness, The Patriarchy, living as a gender-fluid person in the 80s and 90s in DC and Baltimore, and the characters that come along with that life. I am actively seeking publishers interested in such works, and galleries and pop-ups that may be interested in said subject matter. Corporate sponsorships are also, of course, welcomed and appreciated.
Landscape painter Daniel Wise evokes memories and feelings in his viewers with a style reminiscent of the Impressionists. He coaxes these stories onto the canvas using a number of media including dry pastel, gouache, and oils. Whether en plein air or in his converted barn studio, he captures Nature’s intangibles with subtlety and grace. Daniel has a BFA in painting and has studied with several notable artists. His work was recognized with several awards as a signature member of the American Impressionists Society and Pastel Society of America.
