Marc Castelli
Marc Castelli grew up in a military family enriched by travel and living in many places. While none of them seem connected to his present fascination with water and boats, his parents did pass down to him their love of history and cultures. This interest continues with Marc’s family and their vacations to Maine, Brittany, Iceland, and Italy reflecting the desire to have more than a casual experience with such places.

Our life’s journey takes us through so many changes and to many places, and so it is with my artwork, which evolves on an ongoing basis. I am inspired by, and love to paint and draw from nature; always looking to explore the impact of color and to highlight the juxtaposition of darks and lights - how one enhances and beautifies the other. I create vibrant outdoor scenes and dramatic portraits, mostly using oils, watercolor and graphite.
John Sharp
John Sharp lives on the Eastern Shore.  He strives to depict, through his art, the culture of a life working on the water as well as the beauty of the Chesapeake Bay and Tidewater Region.  With a lifetime of experiences, that include a career in education, and countless hours on the bay as a commercial waterman, charter boat captain, and recreational sailor, he has accumulated nearly a half-century of memories, observations, and experiences.  With this background, he has had the rare opportunity to not only live, but also appreciate a way of life that may soon disappear forever.

Love to doodle in my paint. Sometimes the brush just dances on the canvas, love that, other times it just sits there and looks at me. My painting is almost childlike in that when my brush hits the canvas, I am having fun. I paint with abandon, emotion, and colors rule. I love color! However, I work spontaneously with a limited color palette of mostly primary colors.
