Alison Gayne, a.k.a. “artagayne”, grew up in Annapolis, Maryland and lived in Portland, Oregon for 15 years, studied art in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and has recently returned to her hometown. Her passion for art began at a young age. She started pursuing art more seriously while attending Moore College of Art & Design, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 2011, her “Bike Art Series” artwork was published in the Bike Art: Bicycles in Art Around The World Book, out of Athens, Greece.

Tony Zaza is mostly self-taught. Attended School of Visual Arts, The New  School for Social Research, graduated Fairleigh Dickinson University and Columbia University School of the Arts. Worked as Technical Director, Sound Recordist,Cameraman, Syndicated Writer, Contract Officer, University-level instructor. Author: Audio Design, Script Planning, Family Guide to Movies On Video, Mechanics of Sound Recording. Primary media : watercolor, photography, printmaking.

As an artist, my primary body of work is done in mandala style, using the circular form as a way to create a microcosm of vibrant color and intricate detail.

This video shows me working in my usual medium, which is pen on watercolor paper. I use Microns and Faber Castell pens. Due to the precision of my work, it takes a long time to color in large areas. Hence, time elapse is a good way to show how I do things!
