Kid Balloon is a visual artist that specializes in graphic design, fine arts painting, event planning, creative direction, and fashion design. Kid Balloon has worked on many major projects with many well-respected organizations in Baltimore, Maryland, and outside of Baltimore. In partnership with BTST Services and BTST Cares, Kid Balloon served as the lead artist and curator for the Black Lives Matter mural in front of Baltimore City Hall.

"Kindred Spirits" was created for Coney Island's "Puppets Come Home." Coney Island's "Puppets Come Home" series serves to honor the 150 year history and tradition of puppetry at Coney Island in Brooklyn, NY.

Maura Dwyer was born and raised in Baltimore and attended the Maryland Institute College of Art. She creates work that supports place-making/keeping through teaching mural workshops, creating visual campaign material, and co-designing community art projects that fuse history, political action, and personal narrative.
