Who is Danny Gatton? If you are a guitarist, you probably already know.

A native of Washington, D.C., Danny Gatton’s mastery of blues, jazz, rock, country, bluegrass and rockabilly so overwhelmed other guitarists, they called him “The Humbler.”

Our film is the first in-depth exploration of the life, music and legacy of a troubled genius. Though he never got the accolades he deserved during his short life, Danny was often called "The World's Greatest Unknown Guitarist".

Danny Gatton was loved and revered by his peers. Every day we hear from fans around the world who want to celebrate the life of Danny Gatton and ensure his legacy!

The film spans Danny’s life from 1964 -1994 and it is a blend of rare archival footage with contemporary interviews, graphics and imagery.
