Raised in Bel Air for most of my life. Graduated from Pratt Insitute in Brooklyn, NY.
For my drawings and paintings, I prefer doing abstracted art inspired by fauvism, surrealism, and Lenape styles.
I also do wire-wrapped jewelry, often focusing on combining the meanings of the stones used for symbolism.
Custom work is available upon request. Please contact me through Etsy for one.
Vibrant, Dynamic and Abstract are words to describe the soulful art of Alicia Ashley Weathersby.
She began her journey as a "primitive" artist creating jewelry. Her pieces combine crafting, fine arts, and dance techniques as vehicles to her passion and life experiences. Freed from the constraints of conventional techniques, Ms. Ashley conveys her desire to express herself and be uniquely abstract.
The dynamism in her pieces is reflective of movement in nature as well as the human body, which is vividly transformed into an abstract presentation.
Monica Lyles has always loved art and enjoyed creating. Her art medium of choice are acrylic paint, acrylic inks, and collage. As a fan of vibrant colors, she aims to bring dynamic combinations and enjoys creating a sense of joy through each piece. Monica desires to share God’s gift of art creation through her business Monica Creates Daily, which was created during the pandemic.
I have been making art since age 4 and it feeds my soul! I work in many different mediums: Clay Sculpture, Beaded Jewelry, Costume Headpieces, Dog Portraits, Body Paint. I do commission work for costumes, dog portraits, jewelry & sculpture.
