Shaawan Francis Keahna
Shaawan Francis Keahna (b. 1997) is an enrolled member of the White Earth Band of Minnesota Ojibwe and a Meskwaki descendant. His visual art has been to the Miikanan Gallery at the Watermark Art Center, All My Relations, Giizhigen Artists Incubator, the Walker’s Point Center for the Arts, and the Minneapolis Institute of Art. The short film “a place on the edge of breath,” which he co-produced and was featured in, won best documentary at Bushwick Film Festival. His words are in Same Faces Collective, Tension Literary, Hoxie Gorge Review, Unstaged, and too many others to list here.
Aaron Newcome-Beill
Mr. Roswell's Neighborhood (MRN) is the electronic music project of Aaron Auslander (pseud.) from Baltimore, Maryland. The project is focused on the creation/production of instrumental electronic music that incorporates creative aspects of experimental as well as contemporary music. The music features fast beats and high frequencies with alternating patterns and rhythms hosting unique sound designs and layers of warped kick drums, detuned arps, and bitcrushed melodies.

Katia D. Ulysse is a Haitian-born author, poet, and educator. Inner city nursery known as “The Green Beating Heart of Shaw.” Retail and community space built out of an abandoned lot that was once a gas station.

I have spoken on "Mending Nations" at the United Nations at the "World Peace Prayer Conference" at the Dag Hammarskjold Auditorium in New York to further the use of literature-poetry to reach the community, the nation, and a global audience. The ethical aspect of poetry as language from the heart, yet reaching outward to the larger audience engages both poet and audience as a recipient of the audio, visual, and print message.. "Ambassador for Youth" poet, Tory Butterfield, illustrates the concept of poetry in motion. She is a high school student, a youth poet, and innovative poet.
