Pique Collective is a quintet of modern music makers who strive to bring together local artists, craft brews and eats, and lively concerts of new and recent musical compositions. Our aim is to be more in B'More by providing uncommon experiences in art music. We are your local besties when it comes to discovering innovative music performances. As part of a lively family of modern and post-modern musicians in Baltimore, we love contributing with shows that think outside the bar, but keep great time!
First and foremost I am a composer / jazz pianist, with nearly 700 works to my credit. These are mostly either New Jazz or Modern Chamber genres. Part of my performance credits include Art Scape and Light City Baltimore, both on the Main Stage, plus I've performed several times at the Kennedy Center. I have been awarded two MSAC music composition grants. Some of these works are art videos, i.e. music and visual images. I've also created visual art, a mix of acrylic painting, colored marker, and pen & ink drawings. I am also an "opportunistic" photographer, i.e.

Yordan Silvera is a multidisciplinary artist, designer and illustrator born in Havana. He studied fine art painting at Escuela San Alejandro, the Cuban National Academy of the Art, and graphic design at The Corcoran College of Art and Design.

Mary Kate Ford (she/they) is an inter/antidisciplinary artist currently based in the DMV area. MK is pursuing a MFA in Dance from the University of Maryland College Park and holds a BFA in Dance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Her work includes dance choreography + performance, film, animation, material visual arts, and scholarship. In addition to performing and creating, Mary Kate is an instructor in the DMV community for dance, yoga, and creative courses.
