The Baltimore Improv Group (BIG) is a nonprofit arts organization committed to performing, teaching, and advancing improvisational comedy. Based in the heart of the Station North Arts District, BIG serves the Baltimore community through weekly stage shows, public classes, and curated programming that brings people together through laughter and creativity.
Michelle provides professional Mental Health Coordination services to support the emotional well-being of cast, crew, and participants throughout the production process. As a licensed clinical social worker and Director of Behavioral Health Partnerships at the Association of Mental Health Coordinators (AMHC), Michelle offers pre-production consultations, on-set support, crisis response planning, group processing, and script sensitivity guidance.
“Words, Wings & Wine” is a monthly arts event in Baltimore that celebrates poetry, comedy, live painting, and music. It serves as a platform for diverse voices and has been a staple since June 2019.
B Free Dance Cheer Academy LLC is a Baltimore-based performing arts program rooted in liberation, expression, and excellence. As a Black woman-led organization, it centers the voices, stories, and brilliance of youth—especially those from historically marginalized communities—through the art of dance, cheerleading, and gymnastics.
Dualis is an all-professional chamber choir performing choral music at a high level of excellence in the heart of Baltimore. The name of the group reflects the dualistic nature of selected repertoire, with the focus being on pairing musical pieces of vastly contrasting styles and sonic pallets. The group consists of 24 professional singers, who are each given music to prepare in advance. Dualis Ensemble represents the very finest in choral music making, and serves as the premiere professional chamber choir in Baltimore.
Our Mission is to provide opportunities for a diverse student population to discover their passion. Students at the academy will participate in in-depth studies of multiple aspects including history, theory, technique, and practice of Visual Art, Theatre, Music, Dance and Television Media. A highly trained staff of arts educators will develop within the students the courage to take risks and become leaders. Together we will build an active arts community where VPA academy students inspire others to express themselves through various artistic methods.
The Susquehanna Symphony Orchestra (SSO) is an all-volunteer community arts organization that performs diverse orchestral works to enrich, enlighten, and educate both its talented musicians and engaged audiences. Through a variety of collaborations and partnerships, the SSO contributes to the rich artistic and cultural landscape, which is the heartbeat and soul of Harford County, Maryland, and the surrounding communities.
Harmonia Festival Choir is an exciting new community chorus in Baltimore County designed to give singers the experience of presenting a full-length public performance without the weekly rehearsal commitment.
