I am a Baltimore-based artist / teaching-artist.
I handcraft contemporary stone sculptures using classic materials, simple tools, and time-honored carving techniques.
I mainly utilize marble, alabaster, limestone, and soapstone materials. My work is exhibited regionally (MD, PA, WVA, NY). I accept commisions for custom production.

Ann Quinn is a poet and essayist, editor, teacher, mentor, mother, and classical clarinetist. Her award-winning work has been published or is forthcoming in Poet Lore, Potomac Review, Little Patuxent Review, Broadkill Review, The Ekphrastic Review, Haibun Today, and Snapdragon, and is included in the anthology Red Sky: Poetry on the Global Epidemic of Violence Against Women. Her chapbook, Final Deployment, is published by Finishing Line Press. She teaches at the Writer’s Center in Bethesda and is the poetry editor for Yellow Arrow Journal. Ann holds an M.F.A.

Art is capturing a moment of time.
A moment of one’s soul.
That is why every piece of art is different even if we are looking at the
same model or the same still life or landscape.
It has to be different because the art is a reflection of who we are at the moment, and how we are relating to the object or person at that moment.
In doing so, we are bringing our histories with us:
Our past, present and hopes for the future.
I really don’t know what led me to art. I didn’t get there until much later in life.
HISTORY OF THE SENSATIONAL ROYAL LIGHTS
In a small community known as Cordtown, Maryland, the late Howard and Rena Elliott, parents, brought a group of brothers together and started a quartet known as The Sensational Royal Lights. The forming of the group was a natural because many years earlier, Howard, the boys’ father, had belonged to a gospel quartet known as the Royal Lights.
Robyn Marie Holl paints energetic sensual paintings. She has earned her MFA from Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts as well as a BFA from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. She is recently included in Visionary Women at the Columbia Art Center in March 2019 & 2020, and Colorful Spirit with the support of HorseSpirit Arts Gallery. Internationally Robyn has shown in Sarajevo and Mostar, BiH. Upon return to the US, she exhibited the show, The Balkans, in Brooklyn, NY. Currently Robyn is teaching Acrylic painting at the Columbia Art Center and is the new Program Director at Art Works Now.
i like to work with 35 mm film mostly. the darkroom is my home. my work mostly focuses on how humans comunicate with eachother and how we make eachother feel/ how i feel sometimes. i like to think of my work as a combination of traditional photography with a little modern influence as far as aethstetics go. check it out, i hope you enjoy.
Allen Chunhui Xing is a dancer, choreographer, educator, and producer based in Maryland. He holds an M.Ed. from Salisbury University and an MFA in Dance from the University of Maryland. He is the founder of Xing Dance Theater and City Dance Festival. He is a former member of Huajin Dance Drama Ensemble (China) and toured internationally from 2007-2011, as a soloist in the production "A Man's Requiem" with the Korea Busan Metropolitan Dance Company in 2018, as well as multiple productions internationally toured with Xing Dance Theater from 2018 to the present.
Jeff Thomas is a maker of fine quality concertinas. He was drawn to traditional Irish music and the sounds of the concertina as a young man and his passion for playing made him a pivotal figure in Asheville, North Carolina's early Irish traditional music scene in the late 90s. Unable to afford a high- quality instrument at the time, he grew accustomed to doing repairs on the spot. His adeptness attracted the interest of world-renown flute maker Chris Abell, who hired him to work in his shop.
