Sara Morales-Morgan is an artist from California and Alabama, located in Baltimore, Maryland. Her artwork explores her notions about life through the creation of illustrated porcelain paintings and sculptures. She earned her Master’s degree in Ceramics from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, and her Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art from the University of South Alabama. She has exhibited her work in over 80 exhibitions nationally, and has been published in Ceramics Monthly and in 500 Figures in Clay, Volume 2 by LARK Books.

We provide an amazing platform and nationwide exposure for individuals that take part in our awards show. We have had celebrity host such as Dr. Bobby Jones, Paul Beasely and the Gospel Keynotes, James Hall and Worship and Praise just to name a few. Over the past seven years, I have been the designer for Zari Emerson's kid's clothing brand. Also, I decorate homes, parties, and events of all kinds. In addition, I creative direct videography and photo shoots. My aesthetics is whimsical, romantic, and bold. I am known for my great use of color and multi-textured designs. I have been creating for the past 15 years.
Katie O'Keefe was raised in a quiet village in the Hudson Valley, New York. From the age of 14 Katie has been dealing with Chronic Lyme and her experience with this illness has had a great impact on her creative work. Throughout her teenage years, she studied drawing and painting at The Art Effect (previously known as the Mill Street Loft) in Poughkeepsie NY. When Lyme temporarily limited her dexterity she shifted her practice to adapt; discovering the joys and sensuality of working with thread.

Duke Porter (Duke) is a Baltimore native and “artivist”. He is a member of the SGL spoken word collaborative Sons of Baldwin who co-authored the book of poems “Baldwin Sent Me.” He is a teaching artist for DewMore Baltimore in addition to being responsible for leading trainings, workshops, and organizing cultural events that promote the excellence and wellness of Black people across the gender and sexuality spectrum. His passion for building and uniting Black people has allowed him to be a voice for his community nationally.
