Mary Mayhew
Mary Mayhew Artist Statement with Bio For me, art is like prayer insomuch as beseeches us to take a moment to acknowledge the wonder of life by reflecting a glimpse of the earth’s incredible beauty and mystery. Art arouses our deepest feelings so we can see clearer into our own souls. It helps us dream, reflect, express love, wonder, and awe. It engages us and it connects us. It reminds us of what we cherish.

I create art meant to be enjoyed outside.  Hypertufa is a stone-like aggregate, bonded together using Portland cement.  Leaves, flower patio bowls and lily pad platters add a natural accent to gardens and outside spaces.
Debbi Granruth
Debbi Granruth a self taught photographer born in Tampa, Florida where she spent her early childhood. She moved to Maryland in her teens and has lived there ever since.  Being a former Floridian has made an impact on her photography as she prefers to photograph tropical locations.  She loves the peaceful happy feeling people get when they are on vacation and she loves bright and saturated colors. It brings a smile to her face and also to the people around her...but she also loves the other side of black and white as well.

As an artist, my body of artwork ranges from still life drawings lovingly saved by my mother, made when I was five years old, to my recent sculptures exhibited stateside and internationally.  After earning a BFA from the University of Florida I went on to receive my MFA at the University of Miami, both with a focus on ceramics and sculpture. Upon graduation, I managed a fine art collection of over 4500 pieces for a Florida bank corporation.
