Steele Hill
I started painting with acrylics about five years ago, so I am rather new to the arts world.  I had one painting accepted for display at the Laurel Arts Guild show in Laurel, MD in the spring.  I also will have about 10 paintings on display at the Meeting House Gallery in Columbia, MD  in March.  I primarily paint landscapes.  I will retire from NASA in Feb., 2019 and plan to spend more time painting and displaying my artwork.

Darion Smith, artistic director, resident choreographer, and co-founder of Janusphere Dance Company (JDC).
Jain Nishita
Nishita is a watercolor artist living in Maryland, USA. Born in India, she moved to North America in 2008 to explore a new professional opportunity. As a child, growing up in a home that was filled with books and conversations about art, Nishita took to painting literally like a duckling takes to water. Along with two of her siblings, who were equally artistically inclined, she participated in numerous painting competitions and won awards for her artwork (including the Soviet Land Nehru Award in 1988).
Lisa Battle, Ceramic Sculptor
Lisa Battle is an artist who creates a distinctive style of abstract sculptures by handbuilding with stoneware clay. She explores form and line in three-dimensional space, inspired by patterns created in nature through wind and water erosion, and the graceful arching movements of dance. As a viewer moves around the work, the lines advance and recede, giving an undulating sense of movement. The subtle surface treatments of her work are derived from atmospheric firing techniques, including wood firing in a multi-chambered Noborigama kiln and pit firing.

Christina Guercio
Chris Guercio Crazy Eye Art Studios After admiring art glass her entire adult life, Chris Guercio stumbled upon a fused glass class near her home in 2009. She was hooked within just a few sessions, and after a year, she decided to buy a kiln and start fusing at home. She took over her entire family room and most of her laundry room and started experimenting. She has taken classes at Corning Museum of Glass, Pittsburgh Glass Center, Vitrum Studios, Weisser Glass, Salem Community College Glass Center and has studied with glass artists Linda Humphrey and Michael Dupille in their home studios.
JoAnn Weiss
I've been creating art since I was a small child living in New York. I attended a high school where my creativity was supported and could flourish. After living in Los Angeles for many years, I came back to the East Coast to attend the Maryland Institute College of Art (aka MICA) and pursue my dream of art. I followed that with a Master of Arts from the University of Baltimore. I worked for many years in the commercial side of art creating graphics and animation for the Intelligence Community. I am now enjoying my lifelong dream of creating fine art paintings full-time.
