I love to make art and learn about art-making by experimenting in my studio, by viewing and discussing art with others, and through living and dreaming. My style is usually abstract, representational or contemporary, often with nature or dream-based themes. I create primarily with encaustic (pigmented beeswax) and mixed media including fabric, pastels, fibrous and colorful papers and other found materials and objects.
I was born in Moscow, Russia, where I graduated from the Moscow City Pedagogical University with Masters degree in Arts Education. While living in Moscow, I was employed by a number of Russian publishing houses and worked on various projects that included book covers, drawings, holiday cards and postcards. I also was a member of the Moscow Union of the Artists, where I participated in a number of national art exhibitions.

TWO-TIME GRAMMY® Award Winners, Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer are an eclectic folk festival on their own terms. Their superb harmonies are backed by instrumental virtuosity on the guitar, five-string banjo, ukulele, mandolin, and cello-banjo. The duo has released 48 recordings, won recognition as both songwriters and tradition bearers, and opened doors for countless other musicians. From social justice to the history of women in country music, Django style jazz to bluegrass, and old- time music, they are a rare eclectic duo that ties it all together-past, present, and future.
