I have been working as a cartoonist and art educator for 13 years, and have been working in schools for 21 years. I grew up reading superhero comics and now love making them and teaching others how to make them as well. Since receiving my degree in cartooning from The School of Visual Arts, I have taught art to all age groups, and have created artwork for clients including the Marvel and Disney.

This is why our activities include visual and performing art activities. The power of creation for a child is part of their development. They can look at what they have drawn, painted, sung, acted, or danced to and appreciated their creative expression throughout the duration.
