I have been fascinated with photography ever since I got my first camera in 1972. With a limited budget at a young age, I worked with Kodak Instamatic, Polaroid and disc cameras until finally I was able to purchase my first SLR camera in 1984. As a mass communications major in college, I took photography classes and gained dark room experience. Since then, I have developed my craft and embraced the age of digital photography, taking photographs at various locations across the United States and Canada. In 2014, I started my own business, MJ Clingan Photography, and I have since enjoyed doi

I have had a love of art since I was very young, and in the past six years have been exploring photography. My camera hardly leaves my side, I document life and try to capture the moments that matter. As I do this I am also aware of how a photo can be malipulated in programs like Photoshop and Lightroom. With this in mind I will use everyday images to create abstract works of art in Photoshop.

Brandi was born in Winnipeg, Canada in 1975. Photography has been a significant part of her life for as long as she can remember. Her love of picture taking is a direct result of her dad always keeping a camera in his work truck “just in case”. Her love has turned into a passion and that passion has continued to grow with every photograph taken. In 2004 she married and moved to the United States. Through the years as a military wife she has tried to hone her skills and learn new techniques to create pieces that translate emotion along with strong imagery.
Clay attracts me as a medium because of the myriad possibilities for expression. Type of clay, method of forming and surface design all come together to project from the heart. I particularly enjoy the flexibility and purity of porcelain and enjoy sharing my love of flower gardening. Flowers are a most amazing combination of diversity of color and shape as well as perfection of form. I have been working in clay for more than 15 years .
