I am a local Artist that uses copper and aluminum wire to create my pieces. I twist and bend wire to create freestanding and framed trees, wire writing and different types of signs. I started creating pieces about a year and a half ago and I love it. Together with my fiancé we try to come up with new and original ideas to continue making different and unique pieces. We love creating Wire Art and we hope you enjoy the pieces we create!!
Khristian Weeks works primarily with phenomena - sonic, visual, kinetic, and situational - as distinct from the making of objects. His background is in music, first as an instrumentalist and improviser, eventually exploring composition and sound installation. Weeks earned a bachelor's degree from The New England Conservatory of Music in 1995 (and he has a BM to prove it), but not before taking a few years off of this schooling to re-examine his life-trajectory...to live a little. In 1990, he found a job caring for infants.
I enjoy creating mixed media pieces from found, natural, and upcycled items. I paint with acrylics as well as gouache and watercolor. I also work with fiber to create traditional wool rug hooking pieces. I was trained in illustration and advertising and my work has a strong illustrative feel. Creating art is my passion and sharing that passion with others either through them experiencing my art or when I share my knowledge through instruction is so fulfilling.

Elizabeth Schwarz Sumner was born and raised in Washington, DC. The youngest of seven children, art was a constant in her home. Her father was a WPA artist and landscape painter and was Elizabeth’s first art instructor. She grew up seeing her father working on oil and watercolor paintings and learned to observe objects and see color through his eyes. This intimate training and guidance are still major influences on her work today.
Deb Mackie’s interest in leather began with a Tandy Leather “half-pint” saddle kit given to her by her grandmother for her 12th birthday. Her grandmother, an accomplished leather crafter, lent Deb her some of her tools to finish the kit, and the journey began. Deb eventually began creating her own patterns and designs.
All her pieces begin with top-quality leather, carefully selected for each project. There are several stages, including prep, tooling, skiving, dyeing, and selective finishes and sealers. Although she may repeat a design, no two are exactly alike and may be considered unique.
