Working in the industry for 10+ years now. I am a free-lance illustrator and multi medium artist. My works range from Pyrography to digital art. Graduating in 2013 with my BFA in Illustration I am currently on my path to further my education and experience in a tentative MFA program.
Amanda (Gough) is a foundationally Black and Aegean multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the layered complexities of identity through the lenses of ancestry, mixed-race heritage, motherhood, spirituality, and femininity. Utilizing various media, she crafts visual narratives that delve into the interplay between personal history and collective memory.
Brian Suryah (Baltimore, 1996) is an object, ritual, and pigment-centered transdisciplinary artist exploring the intersections of imagination, form, and ancestral technology using the brand Suryah Studio to present their work publicly. Brian’s work outside their transdisciplinary practice focuses on collaborative efforts with regional branding, civic engagement, and social impact initiatives using human-centered design to better understand and nurture themself, their community, and the spaces and places we share collectively.
My artworks combine tradition and innovation, creating interactive art that transcends all boundaries. My work combines the elegance of wood with digital kinetic art, inviting viewers to experience art through multiple senses. As an expatriate adjusting to a new home while embracing my cultural roots, I find meaning and clarity in the complex role of life. My art goes beyond static sculptures, blending between wood and technology. Motors, sensors and augmented reality (AR) converge in my works, creating vivid stories in which nature, mechanics and digital realms come together.
